About SOL Continent Line

SOL Continent Line is a small, service-oriented organization which focuses exclusively on freight. Offering cost-effective transportation options with 5 routes connecting Finland and Sweden with Germany, Benelux and the UK with no fewer than 28 departures per week.

The benefits are numerous. You get more flexible transportation options to choose from for trailers, containers and project cargo at very competitive prices, thanks to the long-term cooperation and trust given to us by, amongst others, the forestry industry in Finland and Sweden. Environmentally, SOL lies at the forefront of future maritime transport, both in terms of efficient ships and the ports we operate in, which allows for intermodal transport, flexibility and quick access to motorways in Europe. But also, from a sustainability perspective, to be able to adjust speeds for the lowest fuel consumption and operate on the shortest distance between Finland and Germany.

HANKO – ROSTOCK Shortest route between Finland and Germany where you save both time and distance. Operated by three ships with five departures from each port every week. Capacity: 2,170 lane meters per departure.

OULU – KEMI – LÜBECK RoRo route directly from the Bay of Bothnia to the Continent. Links strategic ports in northern Finland directly to Germany and the Continent. Operated by three ships with two southbound departures and one northbound every week. Capacity: 2,774 lane meters per departure.

OULU – KEMI – LÜBECK - ANTWERP – ZEEBRUGGE –TILBURY RoRo route from north to west without reloading. Calls at several strategically located ports in Belgium and England, with the possibility of intermodal transport on the Continent and the UK. Operated by two ships with weekly departure from each port. Capacity: 2,774 lane meters per departure.

GOTHENBURG – ZEEBRUGGE RoRo route from the Nordic region’s largest port directly to Western Europe. Artery to Benelux countries and France, but also to the Continent. Operated by two ships with four departures from each port every week. Capacity 2,600 lane meters per departure.

TILBURY – GOTHENBURG RoRo route for efficient transport from the south of England to Gothenburg, the largest port in Scandinavia. Operated by two ships with one departure per week. Capacity: 2,774 lane meters per departure.
